Directors Lee Hamlin and Elizabeth Yates understand the real challenges of moving family, house and home.

Movinghouse was established in 1997 to make the moving process seamless, efficient and pleasurable. We manage challenging moves every day and have successfully unpacked and set up homes for thousands of delighted clients throughout Australia.

Careers in the corporate world, teaching, air hostessing and small business have provided the experience to produce systems and training that ensure business integrity and client focussed satisfaction.

In 1999 Movinghouse purchased the Melbourne based and highly respected A Smarter Move believing that an experienced team would have an excellent understanding of the local market. We have carried this ideal when establishing teams in other states by implementing local management to coordinate each move.
